In addition to producing a full suite of static and AV assets for Eternals, I had the opportunity to interview Academy Award winning director Chloé Zhao about her approach to filmmaking and her decision to utilize IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio as a storytelling tool. This conversation was edited and packaged in a variety of lengths and formats, used both upon the film’s theatrical release, as well as to promote its subsequent streaming debut on Disney+, where the 1.90:1 scenes are retained.
